Justin Fisher - Raw
by: Dennis

Good athlete, good cover skills, but could be GREAT. It almost seemed like you had to play down to the competition level. Like it was too easy (and I'm guessing it was with only one TD scored against you).

You're a raw athlete so you were able to cover those guys with unpolished technique, but I'll give it to you straight: you're too high in your bail.

Work on coming out and staying LOWER in your bail and backpedal breaks. You were on your heels a couple of times and WRs were able to complete those comeback routes. Instead of making tackles after catches, you could have broken more of them up or even picked some if you were lower in your transition.

Remember, this game is played LOW and HARD. I saw a lot of high shuffling and bouncing out. That wastes time when you have to break on a ball because, instead of already being low you have to get low first and then break.

Good and great receivers at the next level won't let you get away with that.

That being said, YOU HAVE THE TOOLS. You just have to SHARPEN them. A little leg work (weightroom) and technique will make you more explosive out of your breaks

... I gave it four stars because.....MAN, you should've also had way more than 2 picks, especially with 39 passes defended. You already know what that means....

Perfect your ball skills (catch 100 balls/day) and go get those. Have that mindset that if the ball is in the air its yours.

Repetition and Consistency and you'll be a monster.
